Return Policy
An item’s Return Policy information may be found on its product page.
Items that qualify for return must be returned complete, in their original packaging and in the same condition as when sold.
All packing materials must also be returned.
Custom and special order items may not be returned. The Buckingham product line is entirely custom items and there are no returns.
Damaged, defective or incorrect product or quantity
Please inspect your products immediately after receiving them. All claims must be made within 5 days of receipt. Any damaged products will be replaced, at no charge, as soon as possible.
Do not return any product without return authorization
Please call or email us before returning a product for any reason. We will provide you with a return authorization and will send you return shipping instructions.
Request a return
You can request a standard return for up to thirty 30 days from the day your item is shipped.
Misused items may not be returned
If an item is used for a purpose that was not intended, it may not be returned. If the item is used in an area that it was not intended to be used in, it may not be returned.
Restocking Fee
When you return an item you may be charged a fee to restock the item. The restocking fee will be deducted from the amount of your refund credit.
Payment for return shipping
If an item arrives damaged, you are not responsible for the cost of return shipping.
If you decide you longer want the item, you must pay the shipping charges to return the item to us.
In addition, we can not issue you a credit for the shipping fee you paid on your original order.
Please be aware that orders that shipped to you with free shipping will have the actual shipping costs deducted from your return refund.

Product Policy
Color matching using images from website
The color that you see in any publication, file, brochure or on your computer screen while visiting our website, is not guaranteed to match the actual color of the product.
You may want to consider requesting a sample chip or ordering a low-cost item in the color of your choice before placing your entire order.
Color variation
A slight variation in color or finish between items on the same order is expected when ordering hand finished items. Also, please note that items made of different materials take paint or stain differently and may have a slight variation in color.
Drastic color variations
You will be required to send us a photograph which will be forwarded to the fabricator in order to determine the degree of variation. If the variation is deemed unacceptable, you will be issued a replacement item.
Refunds will not be given on custom items due to color variation. The sole remedy for color variation is replacement.
Non-custom, or stock, items can be returned under the guidelines found in our Return Policy.
Custom or special order product
You can find out if an item is custom or special order by visiting the item’s product page.
An item is usually designated as custom if it has to be specially made, configured or painted just for you after you order it.
Items that are designated as special order are unusual pieces that are not stocked by our warehouse.
After you place an order for a custom or special order product
All orders that contain custom or special order items are reviewed. We examine your order for common errors like mismatch in color and size or items that are missing. If we find an issue, we will contact you.
This process takes 24 hours and during this time you may cancel or change your order without penalty.
After this time has expired and your order has passed our review, it is sent to our fabricator. Once the order has been sent to our fabricator, you can not make any changes or cancel your order.
Shipping time for custom or special order item
An estimated ship date will be given after you place an order.
Highly customized items may take more than 15 business days to ship. Once your order ships, you should allow up to 7 business days to receive your order.
When a production delay occurs, we will revise your estimated ship date and alert you by email. If you need to cancel your order due to a production delay, you must respond to our notification within 48 hours.
Shipping dates are estimates only. Your order may take longer or it may ship sooner.
Returning a custom or special order item
Custom and special order items can not be returned for any reason. No cash refunds will be given on custom or special order items. Any order for custom or special order items that is refused by the customer upon delivery will not be refunded.
Refunding freight or shipping fees if it takes longer than expected
Once your order has been processed we can not refund shipping or freight fees. No cash refunds are available for shipping or freight fees.
Please remember you’re ordering custom, hand-made product and the production time will vary.
Custom or special order product arrives incorrect, damaged or is defective
When you place your order, you must agree that your sole remedy is the replacement of the defective item. No cash refunds will be given for custom products.
Screws are not part of an order
A different type of screw is required for each installation situation. We don’t know what situation applies to you and therefore can not send screws with your order.
You can purchase the appropriate screw for your installation type at your local hardware store.
Component Matching
We can not guarantee that a component will work with items outside of its collection.
Use caution when mixing and matching components from various collections.

When your order will ship
Typically, your order will ship within 48 business hours of receipt, as long as all items are in stock and ready to be shipped. Shipment of your order may be delayed due to an item being out-of-stock.
How shipping is calculated
We calculate shipping based on a flat rate.
Additional fees may apply for oversized items.
Orders over $100.00 Get Free Shipping
Order at least $100.00 worth of product and you will receive free shipping unless your order has an oversized item or you are shipping your order to Alaska or Hawaii

If you return an item from an order that qualified for free shipping
You must pay the shipping to return the item. The original shipping amount that you did not have to pay will be deducted from your return credit as well.
Items that qualify for free or reduced shipping must ship all at once
While we try to make sure all products are in stock, from time to time, backorders do occur. If your order qualifies for free or reduced shipping, all items must be shipped together once the backordered items are available.
Problems with shipping
Please contact us so we can trace your package if it has not arrived within 7 days of you receiving a shipping confirmation.
Refusing delivery of a non-damaged order
If you refuse delivery of a non-damaged order for stock items, we won’t be able to issue a return credit and we won’t be able to reship your items at no charge.
If you refuse delivery of a non-damaged custom or special order item, we won’t be able to issue credit and we won’t be able to reship your order at no charge.
