Poles that are 6 foot and longer have a small shipping surcharge even when the rest of the order is free.
For example, if you order $100 or more worth of finials and brackets and a 4 foot pole, your order ships free. But if you include a 6 foot pole, there will be a $6 dollar surcharge because the longer poles are more expensive for us to ship. 12 Foot poles have their own special shipping charge because they cannot be sent with regular carriers such as Fedex or UPS or USPS. They have to go by independent carriers. Call us if you would like to work out better pricing on shipping for your 12 foot pole.
