Use smooth wooden curtain rods for an elegant and traditional look. If you need a wooden curtain rod over 8 feet long, we recommend using two 6 foot or two 8 foot wooden curtain rods with a joiner at the center point. The wooden rods can easily be cut down to get the exact length you need. The reason for this is 12 foot wooden curtain rods cannot ship by UPS or Fed Ex and have to be shipped using a custom freight shipment service, which can be very expensive.
